However, it’s more important for us to recognize that this is the new model when we’re on autopilot.
I think that as a general rule, we should act in less conscious ways. If we are only aware of our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we have no control over them. When in situations where we are aware of our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, we can exercise self-awareness and change what we do.
