I have been a strategy analyst for over 5 years. I have a degree in strategic management from the University of Washington and I love to analyze my work and what might have worked better. I have a strong background in strategy and leadership and enjoy writing about leadership and strategy. I love to listen to and talk about leadership. I have a PhD in leadership and organizational behavior from the University of Washington. I have been published in a variety of publications.

I am more than a year into my MBA in strategic management at the University of Washington. I have a degree in strategic management from UCLA and a degree in leadership and organizational behavior from UBC. I was involved in the creation of a leadership course for the UW MBA program called “Building Leadership Teams.” We’re currently in the process of expanding this course to more than 30 courses for the MBA program.

Strategy analysts do things like analyze and forecast strategy changes, anticipate the effectiveness of strategy, and look for opportunities to make strategic adjustments. When I was in graduate school I studied this field, and it was one of the things that I hoped to do as a career. I have taught strategy and strategy analysis courses at UBC and Vancouver, BC. I currently teach at the University of Washington. I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing.

For example, an analyst might be analyzing a company’s marketing strategy, its manufacturing strategy, or its financial strategies. The process is basically the same, but the term is often used interchangeably. Strategy analysis is a relatively recent trend in business and finance and is most heavily associated with the field of economics.
