Sometimes you just need to make a statement, so why not? I mean, I’m not saying you need to advertise something your competitors are doing, but it’s a good way to push for awareness.

Instagram, in general, is very saturated. There are so many brands on the platform that it can be hard to tell whats going on or where the line is between brands that are just trying to get a new follower, or brands that are trying to sell you something. The best way to do this is to make the message you are trying to sell seem as though it is directly related to the product you are selling.

This is another case of the same problem. If you have a brand/product with a very short shelf life, and have a lot of other brands competing for your attention, then it can be hard to know where to draw the line between brands and brands. The best thing to do is to make sure your brand/product has a few hundred thousand followers, and does something useful or funny every single day.

One of the ways that brands are getting more attention on Instagram is through ads. That’s because it is the place to go if you have a product that is new, has a lot of potential, and still has a long shelf life. The ads are probably just a way to get you to spend more time with your brand, or to get you to share some of the most creative, original photos of your product.
